Flesh Produce - "Liquid Chrome", “Light Speed” (CorpoRAT)
Describing the music of this DIY duo from Seattle feels like trying to write wine tasting notes. Definitely Crystal Castles, and some Shiny Toy Guns… and a hint of Wicca Phase Springs Eternal… is that a whiff of 100 gecs? Or maybe clipping. played at 78rpm?

“Liquid Chrome” is hard and urgent electropunk driven by glitchy keyboards and breakneck breakbeat rhythms while Myla Jane Profitt’s staccato voice surfs this roiling ocean of sound. “Light Speed” is more straightforward electropop with one foot in 00s electroclash and another foot planted on (or in?) an old Nintendo. Both tracks will be on their new album Hyper Chasm, out June 5, 2026.
Dynamic, electric, loud, and as DIY as they come, they may want to be All The Things genre-wise, but they meld it all solidly into something both danceable and moshable.
