Sage Haze - Demo

Singer-Songwriter Sage Haze shared with us 2 demo songs, Fleeting moments and Everything will be just fine? Raw and emotional lyrics & stripped-down, guitar-driven nostalgic melodies that creates a very intimate atmosphere. Hopefully this tracks will be part in the near future of a indie dark folk album. We found a third son on her SoundCloud account that we enjoyed a lot named al o ne.

The songs that we heard brought us memories of Leonard Cohen, Death Cab For Cutie and Tori Amos. but there is much more than that. There is something on these demo songs that say blues to me. Blues not in the sense of the music style but what blues in essence is. I read somewhere that "The blues always have been and always will be a stark reminder of the pain and suffering in the world" That is what I heard on this songs. Blues.

After relocating with her childhood dog (RIP Cocoa) from her small Midwest hometown to a PNW island (mainly due to a manipulative magician who turned her life upside down), Sage moved into a trailer and began working at a pet-friendly pot shop while pursuing a solo music career. She has been able to grow a sizable audience in Whidbey's local music scene and is looking to expand her horizons.
Sage insists that oat milk is the superior milk, animals are allowed on furniture, and Nickelback slaps. Also, fuck ICE.

"Everything will be just fine?" is Sage's first release, and she's challenging herself to make "bad art" by uploading a new song to Soundcloud every month.
