18 tracks concept album released through Beaverhill County Records. This Kelowna, BC-based heavy psychedelic electronic duo released Pleas hold in the most unconventional format ever. It was released exclusively via a toll-free phone number... Yes a phone number... No downloads available on Bandcamp, no playlist online.... (In your face, Spotify!) If you want to experience it you'll need to dial a toll free number, and enjoy this lo-fi masterpiece! That is stranger than fiction and the most unconventional album release that I ever witnessed.
The whole thing is a hold sequence, synths, even a banjo, modem sounds, lysergic loops, not so different to what you get when you call to the IRS to ask were is refund.
I still don't know how we received this album on a CD. This was part of a batch of submissions that we've got and the end of last year. But this was born to live in Hollow Earth Radio. Chapeau! to the artist and thanks to whoever shared this piece with us.
